The SERVOTEC Three-Phase Solar Pump Controller with MPPT & VFD is a high-efficiency solar pumping solution engineered to operate three-phase AC water pumps directly from solar photovoltaic (PV) power. Designed for off-grid applications, the controller enables continuous pump operation without dependence on the utility grid, making it ideal for agricultural irrigation, water supply systems, and industrial water pumping applications.
The controller supports 3 HP to 10 HP three-phase AC pumps, with higher capacity models available on request. It features advanced Microprocessor/DSP-based MPPT technology with an impressive 96% MPPT efficiency, ensuring maximum power extraction from solar panels under varying sunlight conditions. The transformer-less design with an advanced power stage delivers a pure PWM-based sine wave output, providing constant motor torque and smooth pump operation throughout the day.
The system accepts a 160V–800V DC solar input and delivers a 415V AC three-phase output, supporting 3 HP, 5 HP, 7.5 HP, and 10 HP motors. It is designed to operate reliably within a temperature range of 10°C to 70°C and incorporates an intelligent 12V DC cooling fan for efficient thermal management.
An integrated LCD display provides real-time operational information, including total energy generation (kWh), panel voltage, panel current, AC voltage, frequency, and output power, enabling users to monitor system performance with ease.
The controller is equipped with a comprehensive Remote Monitoring System (RMS) utilizing GSM/GPRS (2G/3G/4G) communication technology. It supports MQTT protocol, RS485 communication, JSON data format, and TLS/SSL/X.509 security to ensure secure and reliable data transmission. Users can remotely start or stop the pump through a mobile application, while the controller stores operational data locally for up to one year during network outages. Data transmission intervals are configurable between 1 and 15 minutes, with immediate notifications generated for abnormal events.
The RMS platform provides advanced monitoring and management features, including real-time GPS location tracking, event monitoring, consumer information management, asset management, complaint ticket management, and detailed reporting of pump runtime, energy generation, water discharge, and system performance. The controller is also designed to integrate seamlessly with State-Level Solar Monitoring Platforms for centralized monitoring and reporting.
To ensure safe and reliable operation, the controller incorporates a comprehensive range of protection features, including overload protection, dry-run protection, reverse polarity protection, open-circuit protection, short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, earth fault detection, commutation failure protection, fan failure protection, lightning protection, grid fluctuation protection, integrated DC-side fault detection, and protection against switching transients.
The unit is designed for easy installation with bottom cable entry, BIS-standard PVC copper cables, GL cable trays with protective covers, and industrial-grade terminations. Dedicated PV input terminals (+/-) and RYB motor output terminals provide secure and reliable electrical connections for long-term performance.
